ABOUT ME

Hello and thank you for visiting my website.

I'm an experienced, UKCP registered psychotherapist and I work with clients from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, ages, ethnicities and sexual orientations who may access psychotherapy for a variety of reasons, including anxiety, self-esteem, HIV, relationship difficulties, depression and suicidal feelings.

In addition to private practice, I have been active in the charity sector, including Terrence Higgins Trust and Bereft Bereavement Support and I currently work with adolescents in a secondary school.

I have lived, worked and studied in Italy, Spain and the UK and I have a good understanding of cross cultural and relocation issues. I work both in English and Italian.

MY QUALIFICATIONS

My core psychotherapeutic training (5 years) consists of a PgDip in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy from Regent's University in London.

I recently completed a Two Year Certification Course in Focusing Oriented Psychotherapy, certified by the Focusing Institute (NY) and the London Focusing Institute.

I am fully committed to continued professional development (CPD) and I regularly attend training, conferences and seminars. My ongoing professional development includes areas such as: Trauma, PTSD and Somatic Experiencing.

I am a member of UKCP and the Society for Existential Analysis.
